Historical Society’s 2025 Installation of Board of Directors and
Officers Social and Speakers Event. Paul Waggoner from the Coastal
Corridor Alliance will unveil the remarkable story of the Randall
Preserve, formerly Banning Ranch. Discover how this last large coastal
landscape between Mexico and Ventura County transformed from
prehistoric times to the present. Learn about its unique ecology,
diverse wildlife, and the inspiring tale of community action that
saved this vital natural haven.
The event takes place at 2 PM on
Sunday, January 12th, at the Norma Hertzog Community Center. Don’t
