Celebrate the start of a milestone year! The Costa Mesa Historical Society is turning 60, and there has never been a more exciting time to be a member of the one and only society that matters in Costa Mesa. Join us as we kick off this landmark anniversary with a special edition of our Speakers Program and the installation of our 2026 Board.
We are thrilled to welcome Gustavo Arellano, acclaimed author of Orange County: A People’s Guide, as our guest speaker. Gustavo will share the fascinating stories of the hidden Latino restaurant pioneers who helped shape Costa Mesa’s culinary and cultural history.
Event Highlights:
- Live acoustic music as guests arrive, performed by local musician Moises Vazquez
- Meet our 2026 Board during the installation ceremony
- Light Refreshments will be served
- Open to the public. RSVP Required. Free for Costa Mesa Historical Society members, $15 for non-members
- Guest speakers will have books at the event for purchase and signing.
